I get like 5 or 6 FPS on my laptop, with the occasional disconnect right at the worst possible moment.
On my boyfriend's PC though, I can get crazy awesome FPS, because he has a gaming PC with an awesome land line connection, so I know exactly how you feel. I'm always stealing his PC to play TEF when I can (which is rare, haha)! :3
Mm...my aunt's computer only gives me about 4FPS as well. I have absolutely no patience for it, so I usually end up trying to find a Wi-FO hotspot to use, since I lack internet at my house lD;
