A favorite poetry book? No, I don't think I do. I have some poets I really enjoy, like: Poe, Frost, Emerson, Longfellow and Whitman just to name a few. Thoreau's style's beautiful too. One of the shops I meandered by a couple of days ago had old(like...turn of the century to probably the 40's) books just on works by Kipling and I feel like a couple of other well known poets from that era. I really want to get one the next time I'm wandering around.
i may not be on tonight. got a headache and am very exhausted. wanted to tell ya someway without jumping on Skype. if i feel a bit better later this evening i may be on then. We'll see.
Something that helped me in the past was looking up examples to get an idea of what you can put on your own and then run with that (and put everything) Like...are you good at googling things to fact check or figure out a problem? Put that. Are you diligent in your chores and have to care for things (like your chickens) PUT THAT. Anything and everything you do can impress a potential employer
^This, but phrasing is important! Don't just put "took care of chickens" - you do a lot more than that! You maintain clean and healthy living quarters, provide feed, administer medical treatment when necessary, promote flock health, etc.
You aren't "good at Googling", you have problem-solving and research skills.

I'll try to remember to dig out my résumé for you to peek at when I get home. I'm not sure I still have a copy of my high school level one, but I'll go hunting for that too <3
Thanks guys, and I would appreciate that, Ivi. I think a high school one would work too, since I've been nothing but a full time college student. Not much relevant work experience for the field I want to go into. What I was taught in high school has been chucked out the window now, as far as resume's go, it seems. All the stuff now looks like 'quick! Sell yourself in 8 seconds or less before the hirer gets bored!' which...well...sounds like today's world.

Book formatting mostly. The interior and cover/back cover. I already downloaded some free templates that's specific for novels and have been playing around to learn what does what.
I feel like that's not how I ask for help in that, but eh. I'm too green to know what I need to ask.

Just don't beat yourself up, especially not over something which happened so long ago. I am very bad for doing this myself, and it never does anyone any good.
As for the now, I'm sure that people will come to understand and appreciate what you're going through. You are brave for speaking out, and if something happens which you aren't proud of, it definitely always helps to talk it out and explain where you're coming from. I am a stranger but you are always welcome to chat to me or approach me in forest if you need a buddy : D

I'm pretty sure we've never interacted before even tho I've seen you around, but anyway, I wanted to say that I understand what you are going through. Anxiety and depression suck, and they often make us say or do things that we normally wouldn't do, and which we regret later. It's not your fault, so please try not to feel bad about it. It's brave to say out loud that you are not feeling yourself, and, what I always say to others, your problems do matter, even tho there might be someone out there dealing with a much bigger shit. No one is perfect and we all mess up sometimes. Don't ever forget that.
I speak with you the most and you've been very open with me on these same things. Im very proud of you (as I've said many times in chat heh) that you opened up like this. Its not easy when going through things we have little to no control over. And its true about the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. <3 Hang in there <3
