Body characteristic
His bones, his body are unusual light. This makes them more fragile and loweres down his effectiveness in a fight. For this, it also makes him faster, and increases his agility and his stamina.
He is colorblind and overly sensitve to light.... he has to wear his goggles as long as it is day. The goggles are represented by the fan mask on his set.
He has very strong self-healing abilites, injuries usually heal up within hours to days, depending on how critical they are.

Character
Though he could be best described as 'insane' he has, like every insane person, his light moments, in which he likes to just frolic around. But even in those situation it just needs a certain 'trigger' to let him snap again and change from happiness into agression.
Although he is a nice comrade at times, he simply can't be trusted. Years of physical and mental pain changed him into a screwed sadistic, masochistic and psychopatic individual. He is driven by rage and agony, wants to make anyone and everyone pay for what had happen to him.
He not only trusts on blunt violence but also on 'psychological warfare'. He's a gambler, who loves to play cruel games with others, even accepting to lose everything himself. Even if he calls you 'friend' you won't be save from his games... on the contrary... it is possible he just befriended you to find out your soft spots, to be able to hit where it hurts the most.
However, he has a soft spot for fawns... after all, they remind him of his children... of his family... you would never see him attacking one of them... unless something or someone drove him into deepest madness.
Concerning fawns that are played as minideer in the forest: As long as I don't get to know that this certain minideer is actually a fawn, they will be 'treatened' as adulds. I make sure to check as soon as possible but often it is not possible. So.. heh don't be confused it a sudden change of his behaviour takes place.
(experimental) He destincts between human faced creatures and all those that have 'animal faces' in the forest. Since he mostly despises the 'animals', the second often have harder times with him.
Language
Voice sounds similar to
this singer's voice, though slightly deeper.
He's
German. That means if he's talking, his English has noticable accent (comparable to that of the singer of the third song in the playlist). It seems, that he
could talk in a nicer way, but he is just too lazy. Also he is a little impolite, changing languages in a conversation sometimes.

Jack is a human. Or... at least something similar.
He never was ment to be part of this world and he never felt as such.
Since he never found out how he got here in first place, he always saw the forest as a kind of prison. This fealing was increased by the fact that he and his 'sister' where unable to leave this place for a long time.
However, this had changed. After a long search he finally found out how to switch between the two worlds.
When he is in the forest, it is only his mind that is 'visiting' the deer-body that is visible here. During the time he is here, his 'human' body falls into a comatose sleep...
... he still has a connection to the 'human world', makeing him able to catch scents, sounds or feelings from the 'other side' while he is in the forest.
To leave the forest again, he needs a certain amount of concentration (means he would be unable to leave, as soon as his mental state falls below 20%). He also needs to be awake to get out again.
The deer body vanishes as soon as his mind leaves.. should the body die, his mind will also go back to his actual body... and he would have to 'start over' as a fawn again, next time he enters the forest again.
Another lucky coincidence for him, is the fact that time in the forest and in 'his' world flows different. That means if he visits the forest for a short time, little to no time pases by in 'his' world.

He says ''Yes, Yes''. An old habit of him. When he's talking he randomly adds 'yes' to the end of his sentences. This is how it looks like in forest language.

Rearing, lowering antlers, laughing
Hey, it seems he likes you, he just gave you a 'Headbutt'. Maybe a little painful, but that' s his way to show his 'love'.
Suddenly slowing down in his movements, shaking his head(quick change in and of the listening position), walking a lot
He slowly gets annoyed by someone/something... maybe another trigger was pulled

loves squirrels.... they are tasty.
Realdeer - moo.
He developed a great dislike towards this call. Especially when it is constantly repeated or right in his face it possible he will show his annoyance.
The Altar and the Ruins
His favourite place, it seems, is the 'altar' at the ruins. He almost everytime sits and sleeps there, when not strolling trhough the forest.
At times, when he seeks isolation he climbs the top of trees or the ruins to sleep there...
Skull Mask
Sometimes, most around halloween he waers the skull mask. Though, it doesn't appear as a plain skull on his face, but as a mask like the one seen on the picture.
Bloodcrying Mask
When wearing this approach at own risk. That means his mental 'steadyness' is around zero. He tends to attack randomly then. Just for fun.
When he wears it at rain, in combination with the Candles, it has a different
reason.
Antlers
He doesn't like the weight of them on his head. That's why he prefares to go without them when he doesn't need them... you will only see him antlered when he is about to enter a serious fight or spar. He found a way, using the magic of the forest, to let them 'grow' at his will. This is an exhausing process, he can let them appear and disappear only to acertain limit, after that or in case he is very excited or angry, he has to run around with them for the rest of the day... or until he calms down again.
Butterfly Pelt
When you see him wearing this pelt, he probably had too man mushrooms...
His behaviour ranges from hysterical happy to overly flirty to agressive or deadly depressed. He is even more unpredctable than usual in this state and he has no control over his antlers anymore, so they are visible all the time. On the next day he usually can't remember what had happened.
It's not much left of the man, that he once was...
... but a few things will never change.
He can not be trusted, right. He will try his best to hurt you in any possible way... just because he feels like it, also true.
But if someone does a favour for him, something he really appreciate, that 'touches' him... he will return it, no matter what.
Not many managed it to earn this kind of 'honour'.

Jergens, his sworn enemy, victim of his cruel games and pranks...
... the red was the one, who helped his little 'sister', Jane, his love, his one and only... after Jack tried to murder her, attempting to leave the forest together with her.
He is sure, without the help of Jergens, she wouldn't have survived.
He owes the red her live, the biggest possible favour to give.
He will return it, he will give
anything in return for that...
... no matter how much he detests this fact.

The stag once fought against him, protected Jane from one of his fits of rage.
Virgil fought for her...
... in return Jack fought for him, when he was attacked by Umay and Kody.
For Jack the favour is returned now.

... of course... this also works the other way round. If you ask him for a favour... and he is in a
good mood... (or simply wants to play a game with you) he will grant you a favour...
... of course he expects you to return the same (or... more...) to him.
And if you refuse to do so...
... well... it will be 'payment' enough for him to take what he wants...
Illrose -returned-
After Illrose got to know that it was Jack who killed her, and therefore freed her from her 'black deer' state, she told him that she now owes him something.
This is not a friend list. For jack there is no thing such as 'friendship'. His past had tought him to never let anyone close again, never trust again, since this would lead to pain. A kind of pain he isn't able to bear anymore.
... however, a very feww have had earned a bit of his loyality... and made him care for them...in spite of his attempts to 'never let anyone close again'. Those bonds are fragile and stressing...

A strange hate-relationship the white stag has with him. No one, propably not even himself can tell why he hates the red stag that much. He chosed Jergens as his opponent for his 'losing game', in which grand final he finally forced the red stag to kill him, just to proof that anyone would be capable of insanity... if only pushed far enough...
However, after he returned to the forest he had to plea for the red stags help... after Jack tried to kill his 'sister' Jane to free her and himself from this forest. The red stag agreed... and for now Jack owes him her life.

The first one that managed it behind the insanes barrier. Besides Jane the first one that got to know the 'secrets' of his part... and that actually earned some kind of repect.
They went through many ups and downs, building up an utterly compliceted relationship now.
Recent events, and talks... have thrown him into a deep confusion about this once more...
... and finally made him realize and admit that he indeed sees her as friend.
Of course something, he would never really admit to others...
Recently he noticed how much he really is attatched to her, and how important she is as her one and besides Jane, only true friend.
One could say the doe is half way to the status Jane has, though in the platonic sense. He cares enough about her to realize his mistakes around her, and how he hurts her with his acts...
Still he has enough 'distance' or just has the right level to care about her to 'let her go' for her own sake... it would tear on him... but unlike with jane it wouldn't tear him appart completely.
At the moment though, he tries his best to stay at the doe's side... trying to avoid hurting her as good as he can.
... at the same time time he still kows that he would be never able to change.

He met her shortly after he returned to the forest as a fawn after Jergens had killed him. The behaviour of the silent, shy fawn cought him immediately.
First he had no explanation for this, but as time went on he realized more and more how this little creature reminded him of his deceased daughter Maria.
Jack is unable to 'fight' against this little beeing. He had surrendered to her, let her even in his heart.
He know how dangerous this is... after the recent events with Illrose more than ever...
But even if he wanted to.... he simply is unable to cut this bond.
He saw himself as her 'father'... leading to overly protective and obsessive behaviour. Revently his shaken mind came to a realization. His children are dead. The obsession has faded away now, as well as the thought of beeing 'father'.
Still he cared for her more than any other deer in the forest and will do his best to protect her if needed.

He calls him Dullhead to show how much he despises the acts and the way of thinking of the big red stag. It only seems that Jack doesn't understand that there are reasons behind this way of acting... in fact he has an idea there are logical reasons behind, that the 'Dullhead' is not as stupid as he always calls him...
... but he doesn't want to know about this facts, doesn't want to care.
In the beginning he actually had enjoyed the presence of the red, a nice one to play games with.
But the more time he spent with him, the greater grew the annoyance, until the red's behaviours finally triggered traumas of his past...
Jack had always been allergic to those that tried to force him, tell him what to do.
Contempt is what the white stag now feels when he senses Gustiro in the forest, contempt and anger.

First this started like his usual relation... sparked interest, seeing opportunities to play a few little, cruel games...
Soon enought this resultet into a constant circle of discussions, fights and violence, often enough scratching on topics, that managed to throw both tha bird and himself into greatest mental stress.
Long since he noticed frightening similarities between himself and the bird. Those, together with the huge differences, and certain incidences between the bird chaned his usual dislike into something more complicated... great dislike, fear, but also a kind of sympathy... the one thing that propably startles him the most.
The bird was the only one til now that managed to literally scare him to death by pulling certain triggers, pinning him down to the ground, making him immobile for a long time by breaking his legs. For now a secret he hadn't shared with anyone, deeply ashamed by this. He still hasn't and propably will never forgive the bird for this.
He managed to face his fear by now.
