it's always been a smoke and mirrors game

10/22/23;

The late evening/night of the 17th, met up with the Captain in Veilara. Upon her arrival, had to find the damn man and spent a good chunk of time doing so. Did not expect to find him where she had, but waited for him to finish his meal, declined his offer for her to get her own, and thought nothing of him taking one with them. Assumed it was for another time. Lazy man and all. Did not care at all for the way in which they traveled back to his current residence, but it was all ultimately worth it upon what awaited them. Absolutely elated at the surprise. Spoke with him privately for just a few minutes before introductions were had, and found the woman to be in relatively good spirits considering her condition and the fact she was, essentially, a prisoner. Could barely contain her humor of it all. Even told the Thief she did not think he had it in him. Further surprised by his admission, and then kept note of his words that if she put enough drink in him, he would tell her every dark corner he has visited. Spent the next few hours there, well into darkness, and helped him briefly with his request, along with sharing a need of her own that she did not have to talk him into nearly as much as she had anticipated. Parted ways shortly after, but not before a cheeky conversation with the Captain that he absolutely did not find humorous or cheeky.

A few months ago during the closing of Jularh's yearly games, was incredibly impressed by the warrior who won. She was from a Kingdom that had not been on the Queen's radar, until the victory, and spent the remainder of the celebrations trying to woo the King and Queen, which had proved fruitful, and spent the night with both of them afterwards. Arranged for a proper meeting between Kingdoms a few days later, and could do little more than pace until the day of. Curious of their rulings, and the hows. Determined to learn a little more before she devises a course of action.

10/17/23;

While her time has been precious, it has been used to further her rule and territory. Now owns near everything as far as the eye can see from the top of her Temple in Jularh, as well as everything one would travel through for a few days starting from the main City. Most have been taken forcibly, especially since her territory begun to grow further. In the early days, manipulation and seduction were the easier route, now she has thousands in her army to do her work, and she can simply take over neighbouring Kingdoms in the comfort of her own Temple. Despite all she owns, continues plans for take overs of cities and Kingdoms that are still out of her reach. With the vanishing of Prism, has formally expressed to her Court that she is once again ruling on her own as a single woman and Kingless Queen. It seemed the business marriage arrangement did it's job however, for they seem, at least for now, content to allow her the freedom of choice without being contracted with another.

Got wind of rumors circulating from a spy she has scattered around the Kingdoms she does not live in but rule. One specific name; Akil, was much too curious of her not to request more information. Curious upon the receive, met up with her sister to discuss a forwarded message for the Captain, since both seem to visit the forest more often than her as of late. This morning, found him with the stench of whiskey to his form. Tested him to be sure he was of level and sound mind before delving some information she wished him to be privy of. Amused greatly at his favoured ask, but stifled the laugh she felt ready to erupt. Knew he'd be sensitive of it and take it back, and she was now far too intrigued to visit and see for herself. Accepted it and parted ways with speak of a regroup later.

Traits

• First appearance in forest was early 2016; first interaction with Circe

• An egg layer no matter the body she takes, and able to store sperm like this

• Knows, and speaks, a wide variety of languages; though favours Farsi and those found only in Ivelon

• Holds little interest and patience in individuals who are skittish or nervous. Finds confidence to be the most attractive quality

• Possessive of nothing except material belongings that she owns. However possessiveness over herself is welcomed to a degree

• Able to impregnate and carry the child of anyone from the same gender. In this case DNA is extracted during intimacy via Mirah using her magic

• Hard to anger normally. Very few things trigger her, though if possible she's likely to make a game out of any situation that she may similarly find herself in

• Despite her morbid and promiscuous life and personality, is a harbor of a form of light magic. A form seen nowhere else than in Ivelon, and more specifically; Elyria

• High pain tolerance, and has no fear of it so can take quite a beating until pain brings her down. Feels the burn of fire, and while her fur or skin doesn't singe, feels it as if it still were

• Despite being an exceptionally social creature, Mirah is also very adapt and content to spend time in her own company alone. Likes it occasionally, especially when needing to unwind or when she's relaxing

• No preference with her orientation, though is bias towards those of similar species to her true form, and seems partial to those that aren't typically 'handsome' or 'beautiful'. Likes big and bright, but finds 'beastly' beings much more alluring

• Wholly attracted to violence and anger. Drawn to those who look dangerous because of it. Thrives off the energy they emit, as if it gives her life. Roughness and violence towards herself isn't accepted unless through consensual intimacy

• Maternal to none outside those born from her, and only then it is not permanent. Once she found young or small beings 'cute' in the way one would find a pet cute and wish to own one, now she has no interest in the young of others unless feigning it

• A trader throughout much of her life in Elyria. Since coming into reigning her own Kingdom, however, finds her trades little to none. Trades now are usually only for crystal shards from the healers in Elyria in exchange for whatever the others may want or need at the time

• Frequently lures in young women to private quarters, and after seducing them slits their throat and bathes her body with their blood, drinking it to ensure her innards benefit from the vitality and youth. Has practiced the ritual for hundreds of years, though able to do it more often now she has the means

• Has her own pets back in her Kingdom. Owns monkeys and a leopard. The former are released from their pens throughout the day and returned at night; the leopard sleeps in Mirah's room during the day and is released throughout the night. Her own personal 'protection animal' to guard her room when she isn't home

• Capable of monogamy or polyamory. Able to pair loyally to one under the right circumstances, but only ever if it's mutual and only ever if she's getting something out of it in some way. The latter is welcomed with specific and careful guidelines and structures of her own that must be met. Unlikely to ever be truly and genuinely monogamous, and only when she does it would be with someone that matches her own personality

• Spending a large majority of her upbringing in the kingdom's library, has a wide variety of knowledge that expands far. Knows things and long history about Elyria that only a fair few do, studied kingdoms far from her home one, as well as a multitude of different species and worlds that past travelers have documented about. Ties into her knowledge on how to play the 'doe' part, as well as knowing existence is vast and she has only touched and seen a small part of it.

• Elyrian's magic is their life source, their soul. Soul = magic. The light crystal takes energy and nutrients from the sun, which then feeds the Elyrian's the energy and life they need. Cannot live without their magic, cannot feed their magic without the light crystal, both are important for their survival. If venturing away from the Kingdom, must have a small piece of the crystal sewn into their body. This is usually temporary, though there have been known individuals to not get it removed.
