Starless once again lowered his posture as the other canine approached, eyeing him intently yet wagging his small tail anxiously. He proceeded to lay when the grey takes his place beside him, reaching over to sniff the wolf but pays little mind to the individual scents offered, instead assuming that it is the greys natural scent alone. But soon the red hybrids attention returns to the meat laying almost forgotten nearby, and as though he's been starved (which isn't the case), Starless licks his lips, looks back to the grey wolf, sits up and tries to sniff at the others chin submissively. "Can have...?"

Draak: that would've been such an interesting thing for Jehoel to experience! Sorry you missed it man. But all is not lost! Star's going through some massive changes in himself atm and I'm fully anticipating him to become a problematic teenager. I'm sure there'll be a lot more chances in future. >:)

The grey stray sighed a little. Size or not, a pup was a pup. And this one here was more than kind and submissive to a stranger of Faolán's age. That rabbit was a nice and juicy catch, but the wolf was sure that this - though rare to acquire here - wasn't the last time he could get himself such a treat.

And so the wolf stepped aside. He stood his ground next to the red canine, but with a wagging tail and soft nudged, followed by his eyes directing the youngsters attention to the food, he gave his opposite the permission to take as much of the carcass as he needed.
The pup may didn't looked starved but who knows when he had his last meal, after all he was young and from smell and look alone the silvery male couldn't tell how much experience in the hunt the boy had.

As the red dog dashed forward suddenly, Faolán remained on his paws, but his body gave a little pull back of surprise. With an intensive look he watched the pup bringing space between himself and the stray.
Although the wolf was aware that nothing would remain of his meal, he left the other be. Obviously the younger one was very hungry and enjoyed the rabbit a lot. Or at least it seemed so to the Lupus.

Non the less it sparked Faolán's curiosity on how the other would react on closer contact while feeding and so he started to approached the eating figure. Slowly and casual though, walking left and right as he did instead of taking the direct route to avoid making the other feel confronted or attacked, breaking in his path to sniff the ground now and then.
When he was pretty close, the grey stretched his neck towards and sniffed the pup once again, letting a small whine escape to make sure the other noticed his presence.

aaaaa now I'm even more curious about what'd happen if Jehoel fought with Saosin. I'd also be really torn about it because of what Jehoel is. Sobs at the woes of having powerful deer and trying to make things fair.

I get the feeling Jehoel wouldn't actually attack unless Saosin laid a handhoof/antler on Remus if he was there. He might get all defensive and be all "y'all best cut that out he's only a child". I also don't think he'd know about what happened prior, because he wouldnt think to "look".

The whine of the pup sent the grey's ears into a short pull back for a moment, but as the following growl reached those said ears, Faolán turned himself side by side with the laying figure in one swift motion, avoiding sudden jumps to not startle the other. The wolf forgot to wage body strength for a moment as his instinct of the age difference kicked in. One could say, he whispered a small growl into the boy's ear to remind him of that difference, too, his own tail and ears perked in a show of dominance.
However it remained at this "reminder" and there was no attempt of the grown-up to claim back the rabbit he offered the teen before.
Instead he gave the other the respectful distance that was given between wolves, which made sure the personal space was not invaded, yet it was still far closer than the distance the red canine had chosen before.
There the wolf laid down, resting his head on the front paws and closing his eyes. The only part of his body that focused on the other right now where his ears now and then.

Regardless of any consideration the Grey took, the small growl set to remind Starless of his place sent the youth into a panic. Frantically grasping what's left of the rabbit, the red hybrid clumsily bolts forward from his previous laying, tripping in the process of trying to gather his footing. In the momentary chaos of Starless' mind, he doesn't realize that half of the rabbit has fallen to the ground, instead he makes a run for it with pinned ears, afraid of the stray changing his mind and claiming back the food, or anything worse that could happen.

(I'm sorry for the slow friend, I'm very inconsistent with site rps rofl. ;;)

I haven't commented here yet? ANYWAY he's incredible. I love his in-forest set too. I love all. Keeping my eyes on this because reading about him gives me odd and nice vibes.

Don't think I've tracked this yet so.. track!

It took Faolán a while to realize what had happened, still unaware though that it was his actions that caused this. He looked around, almost confused as to where the yearling had gone to, but the red was nowhere to be spotted. Or at least the wolf couldn’t spot him immediately.
What he noticed though was half of the remains of his kill lying on the floor, probably in the direction the other had departed to.
Faolán rose from his spot he had relaxed on until now and went to the carcass to pick it up. For a moment he was debating with himself, if he should consume the portion left behind, but his so-to-say better side got hold of him, made the grey turn around and walking back to the spot where his companion rested at before. There the adult male started to dig down into the ground, until a small but fine hole lingered before him. There he placed the leporid and threw earth loosely upon the flesh and fur.
This had a risk of other predators finding it, especially considering that Faolán decided against marking the territory, but maybe the pup would have enough curiosity and hunger to check this spot out once again.
And so the stray left the scene, though he had to admit to himself, curiosity also got his senses tingly, though his was more directed to the other canid than the food.
