Mini-deer can't seem to keep his pelt?

Anyone able to tell me why I can't seem to get my deer to keep his pelt? I saved his appearance, but upon reloading the game, he only has the mask and antlers? Very annoying considering someone was kind enough to help me get the nightfall pelt.

It's a common glitch, pelts won't show after reload on minis.
Here, this'll help. Or you can ask someone to cast the devout on you.

Yes, the mini deer pelts kind of disappear whenever you login, it is still there though! There is a trick for mini deer pelts to show, here. Hope it helps you!
