I'm sure I'm not the only one that's noticed that there's a lot of negativity on the community. That's no fun, is it?
We should fix that. (:

*With Quad's support, I wanted to make a blog for the community where only the positive will reside. This is to counter his "Vent and Refresh" area and to create a balance between the negative and positive.

I want positive things here and it doesn't matter what.
It can be about finally going out to buy the item you needed, beating a game, or passing a test.
It can be quotes of wisdom or advice.

Anything. Just make sure it's positive.


Before you post, there are rules. I expect all of them to be followed.
If any of them are broken up to three times, I will repost this blog since I have the right to.

1. No negativity. Save it for someplace else.
3. Be respectful of everyone here. No arguments.

I was working on something

I was working on something this morning when I kept hearing a bird peeping outside. I got up and looked, and on the very top of a tree was a silhouette of a bird. I got my binoculars and looked, and it happened to be a female cardinal. She was singing and peeping like crazy.

I then saw that there wasn't any seed on the feeder, so I grabbed the bag and put some out. I remember looking up and seeing the lady looking down at me. I put some seed out and went back inside. I watched her swoop down and eat a bit.

A little later, I looked out again. and there was the male cardinal eating the seed. The female had gone back up to the tree top and was still singing. But then what happened next was pretty adorable - the male flew up about halfway, and the female dropped down onto the same branch, and I swear I saw them kiss!

I checked later on and saw about ten sparrows and a chickadee eating, followed by a mourningdove. They should thank the cardinals, if it wasn't for the lady singing I wouldn't have put the seed out.

So apparently female deer can have antlers outside of the Caribou breed. Our forest is not all that strange after all!

Oh Beezus I am spamming this

Oh Beezus I am spamming this blog today... but today is good.

I am watching Fiddler on the Roof right now. I remember being in this play years and years ago, when I was still in elementary school, 2005. And guess what? I found a picture with me in it from then... I thought I would share.



I'm the little thing to the front-left of the director, sitting cross-legged on the floor with the blue button-up shirt and all her long hair tucked under a yarmulke... I cross-dressed... and these memories of practice and our standing ovations, getting the glad news we were held-over another night, and all of the wonderful people I met and those I am reconnecting with.... all of them are making me all happy and sentimental tonight.

It's a good day. I hope everyone has good days too.

I got a new Bamboo tablet!

I got a new Bamboo tablet! Laughing out loud (my previous tablet died of old age)

Though I decided I should only get a new one if I really put more effort into my art. So I've decided to really get my head down and use more references and stuff, hence me being so scared to use them... ;_;

I've been having a problem

I've been having a problem with Firefox freezing up every few seconds, it's been going on for a long time. It started after I had gotten a trojan, and I almost switched to a different browser.

Today I decided to do a search and see if anyone had the same problem.

A few moments later, I followed a solution, deleted a few files, and voila! It's not freezing anymore!

...I wish I would have done this sooner. I've been regrettably ignoring the freezing for several months now.

HAPPY MOMENTS?! Does a whole

HAPPY MOMENTS?! Does a whole day count?

This whole day, beginning with relief, was a happy moment.

First: I was glad my fiance' stayed at my dorm last night, because I woke up this morning to his alarm. My phone had been having problems, so it did not sound the alarm to get up.
Second: While on my way to class, I got to see our newest taxidermy mount in our Natural History museum on campus: A polar bear, mounted standing on his hind legs. He's absolutely magnificent.
Third: I got in to a conversation with my Biology professor (whom I normally cannot stand) about this bear and let slip that I do taxidermy. He stopped me from leaving after class for a good 20 mins to ask me how I do what I do. He was generally interested. I am very proud and happy about my hobby. It was good.
Fourth: I went to Communications class and did not blow up at the lady who has been bothering me for awhile, but I did assert myself with her positively.
Fifth: I got back to my dorm and had to call customer service about my faulty phone. Everything went extremely smoothly, and I was told I would get the phone in 3-5 days. I found out 2 hours later that it is being over-nighted to me.
Sixth: Spent a little time talking to my Psychology professor, enjoyed making him smile.
Seventh: Actually had fun in my 2-hour-long biology class. Everyone around me seemed happy, laughing and enjoying themselves too.
Eighth: I am now going to relax my evening away.

I've been hooked on a free

I've been hooked on a free game for my iPod Touch called DragonVale. I usually don't play these kind of 'zoo' games, but I love this one for many reasons. For one, all the animals are dragons. Two, the dragons actually are moving around, they're not just stationary pictures of animals. It makes the zoo seem alive. Finally, I love that the dragons actually have elements (fire, earth, plant, lightning, and so on), and you can breed them and create hybrid dragons with both elements.

The only thing I don't like is how looooonnnggg it takes for things to happen in the game. I had one habitat take 12 hours to be built. Blergh...

Anyway, I've been playing this game for the past few days. Too much fun XD

One of my favorite dragons so far actually looks a little like Anirapio:



Still can't stop playing. I'm naming all of my dragons after my TEF characters, hehe!

"Lepismatidae" is my game center name.

Yeah, DragonVale is really slow for the first 10 levels or so, and then things happen really fast until you hit the upper levels... and then you're stuck trying to get one dragon that you want and can't get, rofl. I've been trying to breed a Panlong for weeks now with no luck.
I'm working towards a Dragonsai Tree and my epic breeding island on the side. Almost have the tree and then I'll be looking for more gem buddies o:

I found a bunch of people on here, I swear getting a bunch of friends for 'party hats' is amazing! I ended up getting something like 30,000 gold from the friends I just got on there.

....Graaaaahhhh I just spent 10 hours breeding a lava dragon and a frost dragon only for it to end up being another lava dragon. I was trying to get a frost fire or a blue fire...

Oh well, at least I can sell it, right? Eye

Yay! Ooh, that marble stuff

Yay! Ooh, that marble stuff looks great. I haven't played with the new walkways yet, so I still have cobblestone everywhere.
Oh, I forget what finally got me my blue fire... I use that Wiki site a lot, though, so I recommend poking around there and paying attention not only to the content, but the user comments. I got my sun and moon dragons from a combination that wasn't listed in the content, but which someone had mentioned down in the comments.
