About you

About you, you poor fawn. This story was about you. The fawn was alone now. In the same spot his mother had left him. Taken with the fears. The fawn learned how to cry now. He learned how to mourn, he learned how to die, he learned how to say goodbye, and he learned how to hope.

Then like a spark of fire and light had came over him. He was swept into a land filled with white light. Two voices echoing all around in unison. “Dear, child, the mountains never had others. Your poor mother and father. This place will only kill you. Come, come to my forest child.” A gentle touch came to his forhead. It was like gods thumb. It smoothened his face flat, his snout gone, his face white and pure. His eyes no longer black but a shocking blue.

“Here I will let you forget the face of your family. I will erase it from your very own face. You need not remember. Endlessly, my friend, you will forever live in peace endlessly.”

Then fawn came amongst a land with trees. Deer among him that had his now flat face. A deer, came to him, a stag brown as dirt. His sign looked like a number from the human language. “What is your name child,” he said.

“Blackhoof,” the fawn whispered.

.....And the end, ends with you.
