Thanks to players like you we have been able to keep The Endless Forest online and absolutely free for everyone. Since we lost our funded support of the multiplayer servers we have depended on the community to help us with the ongoing charges and maintenance of The Endless Forest and we are happy to say this has been largely successful! It seems like this place is more popular than ever, the spirit of the project lives on! Smiling Running a multiplayer environment is not cheap. And though Michael and I have moved on to other projects that take our attention away from this game, we love The Endless Forest as much as you do and want to keep it online forever if possible. So, if you haven't already, please consider a one time donation or an ongoing subscription.

The Forest is such a special place ....i love it to death and i hope it will be there for a long time , even forever .
This game completely changed my boring live and i made such wonderful Friends here .
I would feel really really sad if the game disappeared !!

I also have only been here

I also have only been here for a short period of time but I must say its absolutely lovely here and I am glad its still able to be free for all as it gives one a reason to be at peace no matter how hectic or troubled their own lives currently are.

I truly am glad I was able to find your game at this point in my life I needed a place just to get away from it all! Thanks so much for at least giving this old gal a place to breathe even just for a time , may you be blessed!

I don't mean to be a party

I don't mean to be a party pooper or anything but will there ever be a way to chat with others well playing the game or add them to a friends list of some kind? I find it EXTREMALY hard to find my friends. Its especially hard to role play with out speech.
Also, I keep putting in my name and password but it says my password isn't right. I know for a fact it is because I have the Email telling me what it is. Please help. Sad

But to answer it anyway, use http://www.endlessforest.org/community/current-map-forest to find the picto of the person(s) you are looking for. Most characters who have a biography have a link to their picto in case you can't remember. then you can find it in the map.

Use the listen action in came to enlarge pictos to find it there as well.

Also, please don't post three consecutive times. if you need to add more to your post, hit the EDIT button Smiling

The "reply" function doesn't

The "reply" function doesn't stack your reply directly under the post you are responding to, so it's impossible to tell if you are responding to multiple posts or just posting multiple times. It's best to include the name/s of the people you are responding to if you are trying to get a particular user's attention.
Soli was trying to help you out, no need to be snappy :/ She could have just said "This isn't the place to post those things" and left it at that, but instead she politely let you know that and answered your question.
Here are some common questions and answers, as well as links to a number of good resources for more technical questions you may have. The twin gods look like giant deer.
As far as how you are "supposed" to experience the Forest and whether you are "missing" something or not, that's up to you to determine. Most users enjoy the lack of text in-game because it provides a more peaceful and aesthetically-pleasing atmosphere. If you find that is not for you, you can find a chat program such as Skype or use the community site to supplement the Forest with, or there are other games which provide a chat box as part of the game.

Eek, that's not good... Let your parents know and take some diphenhydramine. Allergic reactions that cause hives can turn pretty serious.

And regarding your trouble logging in, are you using all the correct upper- and lower-case letters? The password is case-sensitive for sure (even though it isn't on the community, the game itself requires the correct case). I don't THINK the login name is (for the game, anyway), but it won't hurt to be sure you've typed it in exactly as it was registered.

Does your password contain any special symbols? Sometimes the game doesn't like those. Try copy-pasting the password into the slot with ctrl+c and ctrl+v.

I have so many happy memories

I have so many happy memories of this game....the day I found it online was probably one of the most interesting I've ever had!
It would be terrible if The Forest ceased to exist...and this makes me wish I could donate. If I had a credit card, I really would.
But for now, I'm enjoying the moments that I get in the forest and the community.

If the The Endless Forest lives on, I'll hope it will be endless Smiling

The Tale of Tales team has

The Tale of Tales team has never wanted to implement either of those things into the game, because it goes against the concept they have for it. It is extremely unlikely they will ever consider adding them.
