I'm really just trying to put off exam studying right now, but I'm pretty curious as well. xD

So, what kinds of things do you collect as a hobby? I like the idea of dedicating so much time, usually years, to result in a wide array of one specific item or theme. Over the years, I've found a few things worth collecting, and I'm sure some of you have as well. So I wanna hear about it!

As for me, I've collected/am collecting:

Beanie Babies - about 163 I think. I've stopped pursuing them now, because the new ones are so different.
Zebra paraphernalia - In all, about 25 zebraish items. I lubs me some zeeebras. C:
Flattened souvenir pennies - 52
Precious rocks/minerals/fossils/shells - About 60 of these kinds of things. Amethysts, agate, jade, hematite, assorted shells, corals, insects and scorpions in resin, shark teeth and jaws, and fossils.
Foreign/rare currency - I have an Egyptian note, a $2 bill, a super old 5¢ military payment certificate note and miscellaneous coins from various countries.
Candy bar wrappers - 86
Chopstick wrappers - about 13-15
Postcards - 22. This is a new one, I've suddenly become obsessed with postcards. xD
Ticket stubs - 38. Mostly from movies I've seen (and liked) since 2004, but also events/concerts/broadway/etc.

So, what about you guys?

Black hooves sank into the thick and cool mud of the pond’s shallows, carrying the deer a short distance into the water. He lowered his head and drank calmly, deaf to the steady approach of another. The air was coldly still and the water chilled his throat as he swallowed it. Silence filled the atmosphere, interrupted only the distant twittering of finches. And so the abrupt splash of quick hooves behind him caused the stag to look up uneasily and turn his head to the sloping bank, turning his ears forward. Another stag was sprinting towards him boldly, kicking up mud and pond water with his back hooves.
When he was close enough to distinguish the luminescent pictogram hovering above his head, Fledermaus was struck with a sudden alarm that tightened his throat and his heart skipped over a beat. But he hardly had time to react before he was rammed in the side by the intruder’s large, curling rack of golden antlers. Icy water enveloped the brown stag’s body as he collapsed sideways into the muddy shallows, disturbing the still surface into heavy ripples. Wincing, he looked upwards at the stag standing over him, the black of his pelt starkly contrasted against the bright gray skies and his ribbon-like antlers curling about the sides of his head.
“Well, would you look at who I’ve found.” Breathed the standing deer, his head lowered hostilely and his heavy exhales rising up in dissipating clouds as he spoke. It was a short while before the fallen deer gathered the nerve to stand again, neglecting to even shake his coat of the heavy mire. He began to falter a response.
“Wh-who are-”

In this blog, I want everyone to share their favorite moments, things, people, and everything about Tale of Tales and/or The Endless Forest and its community. <3 I think the cold weather/school finals is bringing some people down (read: ME xD), and a good picker-upper is always thinking about stuff you love. <3

What I love the most about the community here is the wonderful talent that I see in every artist, writer, philosopher, roleplayer, etc. The creativity surrounding the game and its players is astounding to me

I'm not to big on bandwagon hopping, but I need some kind of interaction with my deer, as well as me with other players. I feel as if they are just silent all the time, and I feel like I don't say much to anyone except for yapping about useless crap on the forums, and I think it would help me develop a possible short story if I could flesh them out a little.

So, I'm asking you to ask them (or me). xD Any questions, they'll be honest I swear. :3

My deer are Fledermaus and Masque.

So, I missed the first Abio because I was busy, but I decided it wasn't all that bad, I could just attend the second one. SO, I figure out the time it would be (-5 hours from Belgium time, so it would be 5 AM). I logged on at 5 AM, according to my computer, and I was immediately greeted with a huge "THE END" in my face. xD

The daylight savings time screwed me over! Heh, I felt really stupid. But, the lag was so bad (about 1-2 fps) that it was hard to do anything.
And, on the bright side, I saw a god or two for a few seconds, those delicious golden ribbon antlers on Aueria, finally saw the cabin in the birch forest (that thing is oddly surreal), and I enjoyed the rain. So, it wasn't all bad.

I still feel like an idiot, though xD

EDIT: ZOMG I CAN HAS INTERNET AGAIN. *happydance*

Bleeehhhhhh. The entire campus internet has been down since Wednesday night. I have so much to do this weekend, but I can't do it without teh interwebz! Laaaame. Plus, the library computers are chock full of people all the time. I wanted to start working on my video entry with the weather changes, but I'm thinking that won't happen. I'm going through withdrawal!!! xD
Terabetha, don't worry, I'm working on your request now. Maybe I'll get a few requests done this weekend to catch up and to pass the time. ;D

So, just tell me your deer's name, maybe a bio link, and probably a screenshot/picture. Oh, and you can choose the pose, background colors, and any little props or whatever (moon, stars, vines, grass, leaves, or anything simple like that). OTAY. So I'm majorly bored, TEF is too glitchy at the moment, and while I'm inspired to write a short-story, my writing skills are like word salad. SO ANYWAYS. MUSIC IS FUN.
