[ role-play with esmerée ]

I think I've finally decided on a general idea of what Esmerée is going to look like (but still too lazy to draw it *shot*), enough to at least get her connections started. To role-play with this girl, though, just be sure to have a character that can withstand being around her! Though she may appear small and gentle, she is - in realty - far from that; practicing magics of all sorts, the fragile-appearing doe isn't the type to hold back from using her powers, even if the subject is otherwise defenseless. To get along remotely with this enchantress, you must first get past her initial I-hate-you-and-everything-about-you phase upfront. After that is all said and done, she's... okay. If you enjoy being used as an occasional experiment for new spells, then she'll be perfect company. Other than that, not quite so much.

With that being said, I'm looking for several people (around five) to start out role-playing her with! I personally don't mind who she meets, but for your character's sake, it may be best that they're stronger than her (physically, that's not a problem *cough* she's a midget *cough*). She doesn't like fawns in the least bit, but will tolerate them if she finds a way to put the young ones to good use. When it comes to stags, she's a flirt and a tease in the beginning, normally trying to put them under some form of spell that would bring humor to the youthful hind. As for those of her own gender, she has formed a unique fascination with female behavior. She generally looks down upon does due to their almost-always lack of power, but a select handful have managed to gain her attention for the better.

The Tales of Esmerée


Warm rays of brilliant sunshine beamed merrily over the expanse of land, their golden fingers stretching and straining through the thick canopy of leaves that laden the forest of the area. Animals of all shapes and sizes were busying themselves with the collecting of food or arranging their woodland homes, taking advantage of the lovely temperature that they had been blessed with. One particular soul, though, found the day to be best suited for napping instead of finding anything productive to occupy herself with; Esmerée lacked the enthusiasm that others had during the hours of daylight. Instead, she flourished among the darkness of night, dwelling in the shadows and inhabiting the hidden views.

The dainty doe was curled up with her forelegs tucked beneath her feminine form, hind limbs pulled in close to her side. While her pale blue oculars fluttered shut, either rather large ear swiveled constantly atop her cranium; even while she rests, she never allows her guard to lower for even one moment, and with good reason.

Heavy footfalls resounded in a rhythmic manner, the pace itself giving away that this was a predator of some sort. Upon the realization that she was being hunted, she - unlike most others would in her situation - remained exactly like she was, a smirk coming to weave its way across her maw. The placement of paws continuously grew louder with each steady breath she inhaled, the steps seeming to quicken until there, in the open, stood a largely-built wolf. Two yellow orbs beamed hungrily into her pelt, its muscles tensing and relaxing under a coat of gray. Its lips pulled back into a snarl, and just as it began to take a step forward, Esmerée opened her piercing eyes and matched its gaze, holding the look until a faint whimper was emitted from within the canine's vocals.

Her trinkets consist of a rabbit's foot (carries the spell in which retains her youth), the mandible of a shrew (complex trinket that ties her soul with the realm
of the deceased; strengthens her abilities in necromancy), and a spellgrabber (a magical charm in which ensnares the influence of magic used against her),
all of which are tied into her tail.
