2 years...

Well.

I feel old.

I remember first coming to the forest as a Nameless, and then a fawn with a pictogram. It was all so fresh, so new, with all these new sights to explore. And even though alot has changed for me, what with finding the community site and making friends, characters, plots, and the like, I still love the forest.

I've needed to take breaks here and there because of life issues, or viruses attacking my computer >_> but ultimately I find I couldn't ever truly ditch for long. This place is wonderful.

Thanks for having me around for the last 2 years; I'm surprised some of you can stand it XD

Taken.

[=Papyrus][=#353535]It perched upon his shoulder in silence, obsidian eyes everwatching with nary an emotion that could be traced within them.

It adjusted its plummage as though in thought, appearing quite taciturn as it observed the slow flow of blood as it pooled around the body.

The sound of another creature approaching brought its eyes up. The tall creature stood still for but a moment, before reaching too close for its comfort; the dove took flight, away from the scene.

Please stop.

I know it may be a bit much to ask, but for anyone who is going to visit Beliar, please, please stop spelling, mooing, and stomping on him. (And bothering Tally as well.)

You may think it stupid, but I am emotionally affected by his passing right now, and... It bothers me to see him desecrated, ridiculous as it sounds. Not to mention it's irritating to have to log out every ten seconds to replace his spelldata.

You've been doing this continuously for well over an hour. Stop. He's not getting up. Leave him be.

Thanks.

Unravelling the Thread

[center][=Papyrus][=#dcdcdc]Where everything is finally explained; the past and the present of Beliar.

It is long; I would be surprised if anyone cared to read it. It is more of a memory for me, because, although he was but a character, he was a part of me, and I shall forever miss him. These are not necessarily ordered chronologically; I'll try to keep them in a general order, but some things may just be posted wherever.

...

The Demon. The Prince of North Hell. The Fawnkiller. The Fragment. The Friend. The Father.

A century ago, Beliar was cursed by 99 tormented souls for his mistake, the cause of their deaths, the deaths of their fawns. So too were his father and brother cursed, each with but one soul. These souls, in great numbers, had vast power over the one whose mind they resided; the 99 souls devoured nearly all of Beliar's sanity... But, they were deceived. In his last moment of desparation, Beliar sealed away a fragment, a sliver of sanity within his mind; it was his conscience. The most valuable part of his thoughts.

For one hundred years, Beliar was commanded by these 'voices' within his head, often causing great harm to others while trying to escape from the souls. He found that, did he not do as they bid, they would ravage his own soul, cut through its threads bit by bit- which in turn caused his physical appearance to grossly alter. He would grow, in height and in bulk. His fur began growing ghastly markings, the colour of dried blood. The skin of his face peeled back to reveal the bone beneath. They wished him to kill the fawns, any fawns he saw- for those voices within his head were once mothers, mothers whom had lost their children because of him.

A plot;

A plot is going on in the forest tonight, and just to prevent anyone getting upset over anything, please do not interfere.

Those involved are Saosin, Ravyn, Beliar and Tally- if you see them you may approach and watch at a distance, but try not to get imbetween the fights XD I would hate for any hurt feelings to occur.

Not very important, just thought I'd put it out there.

Thank you.

Solvedd

So, I've always wondered on this.

Many people are able to put the pictogram of their deer on icons, pictures, or simply make mini coloured versions of them to place right on their bio page, etc.

Now.

I have no idea how to do this. /fails

I'm not sure what it is you do, but they appear to be complete replicas of the pictograms, but I can't figure out how to do this. I just intend to add little pictograms to one of my characters' bios, but I can't if I don't know how to make mini replicas XD

Any words of wisdom?

Volunteer Strings

I'm not entirely sure about the current standing with Snail-love, but I've been truly considering The Puppeteer and his situation, and. Well, considering he has a constant fascination with puppets, and loves to make more for himself...

I was pondering the idea of him having just that, numerous puppets.

Now of course this comes down to volunteers, and timing. I'm not going to play Puppy all the time, of course, but it'd be nice to know that at least one puppet would have a chance at being online when he is. I sound very demanding, but.. He's lonely without his dollies (:

Keep in mind, his puppets are always fawns, as they are the easiest to lure from the company of unsuspecting deer... And the easiest if they put up a fight.

So. Any fawn puppet volunteers? He names each puppet, so feel free to give them a name- and of course, he steals their souls, but not their lives. If Snail's The ONE puppet was anything to go by, they have minds of their own.

Any takers? (: /rambling
