Name origin: Named after an epithet of Artemis, goddess of the hunt and wild animals. The name comes from Amarynthus, a hunter, and is also a name of a flower that represents eternity, as it supposedly blooms forever.

special abilities:
Amary seems to have some kind of healing ability. If she spends enough time with someone who is sick or injured, they may notice that their condition improves more quickly than normal. The difference, however, is not enough to be very noticeable and could easily be attributed to other things. Amary is not aware of this ability herself, and it is passive. It does not work on herself.
(This doesn't necessarily work on everyone, so if you have an injured/sick deer around Amary, they will only get better faster if you want them to...it's up to you how quickly you want your deer to improve. And, of course, it can't work for someone who doesn't know about this...)

favorite places:
the birch forest: This has been getting to be her favorite part of the forest lately. She likes the "jumping rocks", the birds, the blueberries, lying in the tall grass, playing in the larger trees, and the fact that it's almost always bright and sunny there.
flower fields: Amary loves flowers, and so she likes any flower field she can find in the forest. It doesn't matter which kind, although the purple ones are her favorites (she also likes the butterflies and fireflies).
the pond: There are usually a lot of deer by the pond, so it's a good place to meet friends.
the playground: she likes playing on/in the rocks
personality: playful, curious, friendly, a bit naive, pacifist, optimistic, kind, gentle, compassionate, persistent
Amary may be fully grown, but she is still very young, and often acts like a fawn. She loves to play with other deer. Whether a stag, doe, or fawn doesn't matter to her. She bears no prejudices, and does not judge anyone. She loves to play, especially running around, and any deer is a potential playmate to her. Amary is friendly and never hesitates to approach unknown deer, always in the hope of finding a new friend. She is also very curious, which often leads to her wandering off to check out new or unusual things that catch her interest. Though as she grows up, she is learning to restrain herself a bit in this, so that she doesn't always just automatically go running off whenever she sees something (or someone) interesting if she is already with someone (of course, she does slip sometimes, but she doesn't mean to be rude).
-While still energetic, Amary is becoming a bit more calm, and doesn't act quite as fawn-like as she used to, though she still loves to play.
Amary hates fighting, and can't stand it when other deer don't get along. If she sees a fight in progress, she would probably try to stop it. But she will also try to protect other deer that she sees are being attacked, but she will usually do this by trying to scare/chase away the attacker, or standing between the attacker and victim. She refuses to attack others, even in defense, even if this means being hurt.
She cares a lot about others, and if she sees someone who is hurt or sad, she will want to help them. It is at least partly because of this that Amary seems drawn to shy or quiet deer, as she tends to want to help them break out of their shell a little.
She can be rather persistent, as she doesn't like to give up easily. This often shows when attempting to befriend deer that are shy or nervous, trying to get others to play, or just trying to figure out something she doesn't understand. It also means she might follow someone, especially someone she likes or sees as a friend, even after being rejected or asked not to follow. If she does this, it's mainly that she doesn't understand, and is perhaps looking for an explanation, or hoping that they will change their mind. She does not mean to be rude or annoying. She will eventually give up if she continues to not succeed.
Amary is a firm believer that everyone has some good in them, even if you have to look extra hard sometimes, and wishes everyone could live in harmony and be happy.

Amary's past is a mystery, even to herself (or it would be if she ever actually thought about it). It's almost as if the little fawn just appeared in the forest one day. Amary has no memory of anything before the day she first woke up in the forest, or of how she got there or where she came from. She has no family that she can remember. Yet, none of this bothers her as she never even thinks about it. It's never even occurred to her to wonder about her past or where she came from. To Amary, it's as if it's all just natural.
Sometimes, however, she gets a strange, distant feeling that she hasn't always been in the forest, even that she might not have always been a deer... But these feelings usually fade as quickly as they come, and are forgotten immediately. She also occasionally has strange dreams, flashes of images that for some reason seem to give her a feeling of deja vu...But, these too are usually forgotten just as soon as she wakes up.
What Amary doesn't realize is that she was sent into the forest for a purpose. That purpose is, basically, to try and reunify the forest. She appeared at a time when tensions were starting to rise and the harmony of the forest was starting to break apart. However, during the process in which Amary was sent into the forest, she lost all memory and all awareness of her life before. Now she knows nothing of life outside the forest, and has a lot to learn before she can fulfill her purpose. Although, she may end up at least helping in this cause, just by being who she is...a carefree, gentle soul who just wants everyone to be friends, and have fun, and be happy.
Born in a village in ancient Greece, Amarynthia was named after the goddess who was worshiped there. As a child, she was curious and playful, wanting to be friends with everyone. She grew into a gentle and compassionate young woman, doing what she could to help others in need--the sick, the injured, the less fortunate. She never saw her work as a burden, or even as work, as it was what she loved to do. She was well-known in the village and some of the surrounding area, and well-loved. Some even said she may have been part goddess herself. But Amarynthia never saw herself as being any different than anyone else. Her mother had taught her that everyone was equal. Her mother, who had lived a much harder life, only wanted the best for her daughter. She taught her daughter the lessons she had learned from her own life. And Amarynthia took these lessons to heart.
No one knew what happened that day when the beloved young woman seemed to just vanish, without a single trace left behind...

miscellaneous things
-Amary doesn't really have a concept of anything outside the forest. To her, the Endless Forest is
the world. And she isn't aware of any creatures other than those residing in the forest. This makes those fleeting feelings of having once lived elsewhere, and even having once been something other than a deer, all the more perplexing for her. But, as previously mentioned, those feelings are quickly forgotten.
-Amary also doesn't really have a concept of anything from before the day she first appeared in the forest. She is aware that the forest has a long history that she wasn't around for, until recently, and she realizes she hasn't always existed, but it feels to her as if she's always been there. So it wouldn't really be accurate to say that she doesn't remember anything about her life before, since, in her mind, there is nothing
to remember.
-Amary did have a "past life" of sorts. But it wouldn't be exactly accurate to say she was reborn. She was not actually born into the forest, and has no parents within the forest. She more-or-less just "appeared" in the forest as a fawn one day.
-I see Amary as sort of a "neutral" character. By which I mean she doesn't take sides. And she is willing to befriend anyone, regardless of their reputation. She does not believe in evil.
-I've been thinking her "purpose" in the forest is to try to unite everyone, "dark," "light," and everyone else. At least, that will, or might, eventually become her goal. But she still has some more growing to do before she realizes that disunity is an issue (although she is at least staring to see that everything isn't all perfect).
-Part of Amary's personality is based on how I played the game when I first started out, before I even considered creating an actual character. Some of her personality was inspired by stories and such that I read on this site about other people's characters.

Okay, explaining The Fawn's
She's not as scared of Amary anymore. She's a little more willing to let her get close, seeing as she's a little more used to her. However, when that one deer came right up (from sleeping), it scared her, but since he/she was wearing the doe feathers, she didn't feel the need to run. When the deer changed antlers (Is that Nopje, I wonder?), she became skittish, then frightened when he/she ran behind her. Then she ran.
When the deer chased her, she kept going. You may have noticed another picto near her; it seems she had a 'stalker' for the day. x3 You may have noticed the bellowing as well ; when she bellows, it's mainly 'go away' to her pursuer and a call for help.
You might've also wonder why she ran up to Amary and did the scared emote a bunch of times. She was trying to hide from her 'stalker' of the day, seeing as Amary was a familiar face and the only one she thought might be able to help. She wanted to hide behind her.
So, I think that's everything. xD
