Dancing In a Dream [SABEL interaction Blog]

cloudandis's picture
An interaction blog for my main, Sabel. Come on in and say hello, why don't you?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The air was crisp and thick, fog obscuring the world and all that lay within it. Every now and then rapid hoofbeats and the sounds of tines hitting each other could be heard. And then it would fade... fade into a new sound. The laughter of fawns as they passed, the chuckling of a group as they shared experiences and stories. Yet all of their figures were vague and dark- making any features indistinguishable. Their silhouettes wavered as if they were flames.

'I'm asleep again...?'

Concerned voices and questions from strangers and familiar company. They grow louder and louder, buzzing until-

A pair of deep grey eyes flutter open, spluttering and spitting out dirt as an ebony and white uni-deer flopped over onto her back. She was in the pit at the ruins, and had been there for almost a month now. Dirt and sand had crumbled in, burying her and keeping her out of sight- as well as getting into her mouth and nose. Coughing, the doe quickly stood up and shook out her fur. Clouds of dust burst from it and slowly faded into the air, settling back on the ground. her throat felt quite dry, which certainly wasn't aiding with the coughing. Ears faltering back against her skull, the doe began carefully climbing out of the pit.

"That was probably the worst place I've fallen asleep in... ack!" she choked a bit. "Water... pond..."

It was sunny again, more flowers. No rain fell anymore. He'd long since dried out but...the rain had left it's stains on his coat. The little demon looked drained, streaks of transparency tainted the normal pink. He was...tired. Everyday his body gave out a little bit more. The sores weren't going away, neither were the burns. It just got worse and would continue till the Elders came to drag him back to hell.

Helmut bit his lip and kept walking, carefully skirting the graves that bore crucifixes or crosses. He'd been coming to the ruin pit for months now. Closest he could get to his home. A burst of dust flows up over the side of the pit and he screeches to a stop. What the fucking hell? He furrows his brows and approaches carefully in time to see the most dirty doe he'd ever seen emerge. "What the frickn' name of Bailm is that?" He mutters quietly before lifting his voice. "Oy! You okay over there dust cloud?" He manages to sound both concerned and condense ding at the same time.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

Sneezing softly, the uni-doe carefully tried clambering out of the pit before tripping on her lengthy mane. Her body trembled with the fits of what might have been a giggle, but she couldn't make much noise at the moment. Hearing a voice, her head turned to see a small figure standing above the pit. They looked somewhat... shriveled, and perhaps worse for wear. But they were company. Sitting up in a better position, Sabel gave the strange a nod. A soft smile spread across her face, and her tail thumped up and down rather excitedly. "H-hello!"

"Oh," He hadn't expected such

"Oh," He hadn't expected such a...normal response. Especially after practically falling down the stairs again. "Hey, dusty." The rudeness has a sort of uncertainty to it now. The doe was actually fucking wagging her tail? Seriously? Helmut shakes his head and backs up a few steps just in case. You could never tell who'd step on you around here. Even fawns could be vicious, he'd gotten trampled by a swarm of them awhile back. He repeats the query: "You alright Rip-Van-Wrinkle? You look like a natural born dust bunny." Concern mixed with insult. Perfect mix.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

Tilting her head, the uni-doe

Tilting her head, the uni-doe began looking herself over for bruises. But there appeared to be none. The most she was having to deal with now was that awful feeling in her throat and nose- and well, the discomfort of a muddy mane. The names the stranger was calling her were quite unfamiliar- she'd never been referred to by such things before... outside of perhaps, doll.
"Yes- are you, stranger?" she asked. More audible muffled giggling at his last statement. A dust bunny? Yes, she probably looked fairly messy. A trip to the pond would fix that. Yet again, carefully this time, she pulled herself out of the pit and sat a short distance from the retreating creature. getting a better look at them, they seemed to be... rotting? Her curious round eyes followed them.

The tiny demon manages to

The tiny demon manages to look affronted. "Just fine." He growls firmly, annoyed by her giggling. She better not be giggling at his most magnificent self! It didn't didn't matter that he was roughly the size of a bread loaf and had to crane his head up to look at her. He was scary damn it! Scowling Helmut watches her sit and stare at him. He bristles standing up straighter and flicking delicate eats back. His nose twictches non-stop, alongside his legs, tail and pretty much his whole body. The staring contest lasts for a long time. "Who are you?" He finally demands, punctuating his words with a stamp of one teeny hoof. Totally impressive.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

His body language dictated

His body language dictated aggression, but she found this a little amusing. Rolling over onto her back with a 'fwoosh', she stared up at the small and ragged stranger as he demanded her name. "Sabel!" came her immediate and jovial reply. She was rather fascinated by the hinging skin on his jaw and how it contracted when he opened his mouth, and thus oggled at it with a curious expression. "Who are you, one who resembles a snake?" she asked, tail swooshing back and forth through the debris. Though, the ebony and white doe cringed a bit. Her throat was pinching again due to dryness.

He watches her flop over with a bemused expression. That wasn't anywhere near the normal reaction, not that he ever got the normal reaction anymore. Being less then two feet tall did that to you. Sable. Hm. He'd rember that for later. She seems disgustingly nice but the staring is...starting to be unnerving now. One who resembles a snake... Helmut liked the sound of that. There was no way he'd tell her his name though, he wasn't that stupid. "Pick something." He retorts calmly.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

A little disappointed, she

A little disappointed, she rolled back over and settled into a sitting position. Coming up with a name would be easy, considering her impression of him. "Snake?" She asked, slightly lilting her head to the side as if asking for approval. Her ears perked up, and her head turned to glance back into the trees. It was probably just a bit of water from the mud causing her to miss hear something in the distance.

He considers it carfully,

He considers it carfully, pretending to mull it over when he'd already decided. "Snake...yes. That's certainly acceptable." He tells her, once more taking in her extremely dirty self. How the hell would someone even get that dirty? There were two fountains, a stream and a pond for Kunopegos' sake! "Why the fuck are you so dirty? You down there for months or what?" He asks rudely, though he is genuinely curious. "You gotta be hungry or thirsty eh, dust-bunny?"
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

Quite happy with his acceptance of the name, she stood up and leaned back on her hind legs- balancing a bit on her tail. She was standing upright on two hooves, getting a general look of the area before carefully settling down. Yes, her memory was quite fickle at the moment. Pond... past the twin statues. At his inquiry, she gave an uncertain not. "Perhaps. Though, I admit it could have been longer." the uni-doe stated. Though the ebony and white fae couldn't blame him for his curiosity, she'd rarely had so many questions thrown her way before. Or at least, that she could recall.

Dust Bunny. There was that odd and unfamiliar name again. it had a nice ring to it, strangely enough. "Certainly. Would you like to join me by the idol?" she asked, turning and twitching her ears to indicate the direction she meant to head in.

He watched the doe stand on

He watched the doe stand on her hooves with some amusment, it wasn't like she was short enough to warrant it after all. He on the other hand had to periscope just see over the tall grass, didn't even help with most of it either. Being minuscule was such a fucking hassle. He makes a noncommittal noise at her answer and shrugs. While he was curious he didn't really particularly care. The little demon considers her offer carefully, mentally going over the energy he'd have to expend to get there. The terrain was uneven but the grass short and surroundings clearly visible.

Helmut wasn't doing anything else today. "Sure." He replies evenly, pausing to stretch out his legs. It'll be one hellva walk but going anywhere in this forest was a serious hike for his little legs. At least when he got back to hell he'd be in shape.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

As her obliged her with an answer, the doe playfully walked over and scooped up his small form around the middle with her tail, carrying him past the rubble surrounding the pit. There was a dainty hum and stride to her step as the uni-doe began trotting past the tree line towards a hill with a mushroom circle. Beyond that was the Old Oak, and the pond- as she recalled, the shorter way to get to their destination. Her tail was hanging halfway int he air, but not high enough off of the ground to cause a serious fall if she miss stepped. "Off we go, then!"

He's totally unprepared for

He's totally unprepared for what happened next. By the time he realizes what's going on it's too late. The little demon completely losses his shit and starts shrieking like a barn owl. "OY! OY!" He thrashes angerily, kicking and trying to bite at the lady's tail. "HoW daRE YOu! PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" He bellows, thrashing around before realizing that he'd fall if she'd dropped him. After that he just grumbled quietly and stayed still. "Of all the crazy...no good...f'n...hellllll...ahhhhh!" He mumbles under his breath.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

Begining to go at a light

Begining to go at a light jogging pace, the doe carefully cantered up the hillside with the mushrooms before sprinting down. As Her hooves pounded the ground, flower petals and grass flew into the air behind her. The ebony and white body slipped right past the tremendous and towering Old Oak, its hum leaving as soon as it came- until finally, she clattered slowly back into a trotting motion as her hooves met with the bridge. From here, she very gently allowed 'Snake' to slide off of her tail and onto his hooves. "We're here!" she giggled, glancing over the bridge for just a moment. And then, without another thought, she bounced off of it into the deep end of the pond- sending water flying up next to the bridge. Not enough to soak it, but just enough to sprinkle it.

The speed the stranger stars

The speed the stranger stars going is terrifiying, Helmut finds himself bobbing around helplessly. He hates being manhandled like this. Hates being not being in control, not moving of his own volition. Control is something he's fought for his entire life and in two minutes flat all that is ruined. It doesn't seem like she means any harm though. For her she's just helping a stranger out, unless she knows exactly what she's doing. The little demon growls as she finally slows down, bristling extensively. It's an angery, scared thing that she eventually puts down. He cracks at her, popping his jaw so he can snarl at her fully. "DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING DO THAT AGAIN YOU MISERABLE TWAT!" Helmut sceams at her, heart still pounding. "DON'T YOU DARE PICK ME UP AGAIN OR I WILL END YOU!" Well not really, maybe he could bite her ankles but that's about it. He shrieks in fustration as the doe dives off the bridge and gets him wet. For a moment invests begin to swarm over the worn bridgestones but Helmut sends them away.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

Sabel had heard his

Sabel had heard his shrieking, which was quite irregular, and decided to keep that in mind should he decide to accompany her again. But for now... she was being quite mischievous. Slithering under the water, she swamp to the other side of the bridge and peeked up to see him fuming at the side she'd launched herself off of. She didn't speak- only because at the moment she was keeping water in her mouth. Aiming carefully, she sent a shot of it at the ground near him before giggling and diving back under the bridge. She swam out towards the middle of the pond, a good amount of the muck dissolving. Though, it was still a bit thick. So one trip to the pond was probably not going to help much.

Helmut watches the doe

Helmut watches the doe submerge herself, absolutly polluting the heck out of the stream, and lets loose another shriek of fury. She wasn't even listening! How daRE SHE! He loses sight of her and because he has no want to scale the dangerous edge of the bridge he remains there, muttering demonic curses under his breath. The water takes him by suprise and he instantly reacts defensively, a ghostly black hand flickers into existance and slaps at the doe's head, making the air whistle as Helmut whirls around snarling. The hand misses. Barely. The hand dissolves into ash quickly but the single moment he used his powers costs him. The sores opened up again, dribbling thick blue-black blood. Something twists in his stomach and he's forced to sit down and press his forehead against the Bridgestone. He doesn't see the stranger enter the pond.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

Peeking above the water of the pond, she no longer sees the little creature's form looking over the bridge. But she does smell something foul. Unable to discern what the smell is, she quickly makes her way back to the bridge and sees that the little stranger is curled up in pain, with some strange blackness seeping out of him, She clambers up out of the water and approaches cautiously. He looks very frail and weak. Climbing up, the doe settles ont he bridge stones beside the stranger in silence, watching him.

A cough shakes him, releasing a thick puff of ashes and a dribble of what appears to be tar. He spits it out disgustedly and coughs again. Gross. Helmut stands up a bit shakily and has to stop and get his bearings agian. For a long time the little demon just stands there, head down, breathing hard. Very carfully he rubs the gunk off of his face with a knobby little knee before turning towards the other, a quiet hatred burning in his eyes. "F..uck...you." The words are rough and patchy, "That...really...fucking...hurt, you...son' a..bitch." He rasps, each word painfully emphisised. He hangs his head again and takes more sharp, shallow breaths. He should've known using his powers would do this but he did not choose to use them. The defense had been as instinctual as breathing.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

She was confused about his injuries, but base don his words, she'd caused them somehow. Had it been the water? However, she didn't shrink back apologetically. She wanted to understand. His words had a harsh bite to them, despite her lack of understanding for some of his mutterings. "Why are you bleeding? What happened?" she asked calmly. Her eyes watched him with a distance, expression firm. This had never happened before- it felt unnatural.

Helmut sighs, anger fading

Helmut sighs, anger fading out appallingly quickly. "You wouldn't understand." He says quietly. Very carefully he straightens up, rolling shoulders and making sure everything's working alright. "I tried slapping you and missed." Not the clearest answer..."You scared the fuck out of me!" He snaps suddenly, angry that now she has to know this. "And I reacted with magic. That magic has fucking price. Especially these days." He tells her, voice oddly quiet now. He sits, tucking fragile legs daintly underneath himself. He's....tired.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

Her ears flattened back a bit

Her ears flattened back a bit as he explained the situation. She'd have to tread lightly to prevent it from happening again... and this made his anger towards her sound quite justifiable. "I... see." she replied softly, looking over his wounds. Some of the sores that had been visible before had reopened, along with new ones forming. Had he gone through this before...? There was a brief glimmer of guilt in her eyes, but she didn't let it overtake her.

It was strange that to defend himself, he'd have to get hurt- likely the work of some sort of curse. Thus, trying to use any of her own magic could potentially make things worse. "Would you like me to get you anything?" the uni-doe asked, wanting to find a way to help. "I do not know how to ease the pain... but surely, there is a way. Do you have trouble with herbs?" Sabel asked, trying to find some way to at least apologize for the inconvenience she'd caused. "There is a blue bowl of flowers and berries not far from here. I could get you something."

He grumbles at the conceren she's showing now, after she manhandled him and then scared the everlasting hell out'a him. The little demon starts cleaning up the sores, licking at them with tiniest pink sandpaper tongue ever. It hurts like heck but hey, pain doesn't usually bother him for long. These sores will be mostly healed up in...three days. They'd never completely heal though. "No." He grumbles, "Nothing helps this." Hell, this'd probably end up killing him eventually and that scares him. Death for a practically imortal being is unimaginable. "For Bathin's sake don't do that again. I'm not supposed to use this stuff yet, it causes...complications. You can't break an Elders' curse kid." He at least sounds a little more civil. "'Sides, these sores ain't much what hurts."

"Why were you given such a powerful curse?" she asked a bit reproachfully. She'd seen one other who shared similar injuries, but outside of that- it was extremely rare to find anyone with something like this in the forest. Her other encounter had also been a one time thing- as she could no longer sense that stranger in the forest. She frowned a bit at some of his unfamiliar words, which he seemed to be full of. "What is a 'Bathin'?"

"'Cause I fucked up that's why." He snaps, bristling at her sensitive question. It's none of her high-and-mighty business anyway. Why'd she even want to know anyway? So she could look further down her nose at him? Tough luck kid, he'd do no such thing. "Bathin, pale horse-riding fallen angel. He knows the virtues of precious stones and herbs, and can bring men suddenly from one country to another. He helps one attain astral projection, and takes one wherever one wants to go."

At his curt answers, she decided it was better not to make things worse by asking any more questions. Standing, the uni-doe gave him a look of sorrow. "I understand, then... my presence isn't helping you. So I'll leave you be." she replied, stepping back. If she could not help him and her presence was just making things worse, she supposed the best thing she could do at the moment was let him do what he thought was best. "Maybe you'll find someone who can help you." Sabel offered, trotting off of the bridge and heading back out into the forest.

Where you going?" He calls out as the doe starts trotting off and actually scrambles after her a little bit before stopping. The little demon sighs sadly as she dissapears from veiw. Wow he sucked at making friends. "Hello? Dust bunny? Sorry!" He calls again on the off chance she'll hear it.

Her head peeks out from a tree in the distance, ears perked and confusion on her features. She blinks before a look of horror comes across her face and she rushes over. "What's wrong? Are you bleeding again?" she asks, looking him over frantically. his shouting had been a bit discernible. Though, at a quick few tilts of the head and examining his face, he doesn't appear to have any 'other' new wounds. She let out a sigh of relief and sat on the stones in front of him. "D-did I do something wrong again?" the uni-doe asks, giving him a look of concern as much as asking for confirmation.

Her reaperance makes him jump, far more than it should've. A muffled curse bursts out but cuts off as she gets closer. "Nnnnooo? I'm okay..." The uni-doe looks down at him with a little bit of surprise, but her expression softened a bit. "No- don't. I... wasn't thinking at all." she replied sheepishly, backing up and sitting at a distance to offer the stranger a bit of space. She frowned a bit trying to think. How long had she been out? There seemed to be little holes in her memory. However, the little stranger with her seemed to be a bit more concerning. Ears perking up a bit, she looked down at Snake. "Do you know anyone else here?" she asked curiously, tilting her head. He'd been alone at the ruins... but maybe if they found a companion of his, he could get some form of help.

Her question makes him groan and shake his head. "Oh man, E'd totally kill me if she saw me like this! Or...kill the Elders with is...admitingly worse." The other two people he knew were pretty much newborns so..yeah no. And as far as the Starwars fellow he'd met, well he wasn't about to let that fellow in his head anytime soon so no summoning. Plus, no one could help. The Elders would fix this when, no, if they wanted to. "Nope. Nuh, uh. Not going there."

It seemed that he did... but

It seemed that he did... but they either were not the best of company, or there was something stopping him from going to them. "I know a few friends who work with dark magic, but right now I don't think I'd be able to find them." Sabel stated. "I don't really know how long it's been..." she explained, scratching behind her ear with a hoof. This was quite the predicament. Though, maybe they could get their minds off of this with something else. "Do you eat anything?" she asked.

The wind had begun to pick up a bit, and the chilling breeze of the morning was becoming a warm one. it seemed that the rest of the forest was quite idle; as no one else had approached the pond for quite some time. It was a bit strange, since this was one of many places that the forest dwellers all tended to gather at.

For some reason he feels

For some reason he feels compelled to explain further, wich fustrates him. It's well and truly none of her business, but... "E's a total sweetie, but...she gets royally fucking pissed when people hurt her Freinds. Mix that with the fact that I'm pretty sure she's demigod now...." He shrugs and shakes his head. "You see why I don't want her going supersaiyan on my bosses, pretty much the most powerful demons in my district. Shit, I mean, we'd be talking frick'n Armageddon." While he did thrive off of chaos he didn't want that much chaos. "Don't really matter 'bout ya dark magic friends kid, nothing & no one can do anything about it. Which is fine, I'm glad the Elders are following procedure."

To the little demon the forest feels like it always has, too fucking bright and too fucking pretty. Maybe it's a bit quiet but hell, it's better then having fawns screaming in his face. Her question makes him snort, seriously? She was going to try to feed him now? Why did he always attract people like this, it wouldn't be bad to have someone actually be scared of him right? "Seriously? Yeah I eat stuff." He answers, eyebrows lifting. He purposely dosen't elaborate because he wants to be difficult.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.

As he elaborated about why he

As he elaborated about why he couldn't contact one of them in particular, the ebony and white doe understood it a little better. A lot of trouble would come out of trying to go to that person,a s far as he was explaining it. "Is a demi-god like the Twin Gods?" she asked in a confused manner, frowning a bit. She wasn't sure what "Armageddon" was either, but it didn't sound like something ideal. Her hooves shuffled underneath her uncertainly at his mention of 'procedure'. Was this punishment for something?

His response earned a silly grin. Yes, the question probably did sound odd- but she guessed it was better to ask anyways. "I was thinking of getting some berries and flowers nearby." she explained. Though, his lack of further explanation did make this a bit awkward.

"Yeah, but the Twins are God, Gods. Demi's are less powerful but still up there, kinda like half gods." He's not sure why he's gotta explain so many things, the other person he'd met recently didn't understand what he was saying either. Helmut grumbles something that sounds suspiciously like 'I hate salad' when she mentions possibly eating flowers. "Berries are fine." He sighs, reluctantly accepting the fact that was pretty much the only thing in the forest that was even remotely eatable.
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
cloudandis's picture

A bit less confused, Sabel

A bit less confused, Sabel nodded in understanding. So they were still powerful, but not as strong as the Twins. Though she had never met the Twin Gods, their effect of the forest was undeniable. The changes that came with Abiogeness, how strangers from other places came and went. Changing the land and the weather, and the mysteriousness of why or how they allowed things to happen. Although some being in the forest had the ability to cause destruction, the forest would repair itself with ease and new life would spring up.

Her ears twitched curiously, barely hearing his mumble about 'salad'. It sounded familiar, but she didn't think she'd ever heard or used the word before. The doe chuckled a bit. "Would you like me to take you there, or to walk yourself?" she asked, settling onto her stomach and waiting for an answer. "I promise I won't run either way." the raven haired fae assured him, taking into mind his previous words.

"WALK! WALK!" He responds imediatly, almost screeching. "Never again Dustbunny, never again!" The little demon jumps to his feet quickly, seemingly disregarding all of his newest injures and darts out of reach of her tail. When it seems he's not in any danger of being picked up he prances around and calls back to her. "C'mone kid! Let's go!" He calls out before he starts walking.

She giggles uncontrollably at his response, trembling a bit and standing. "I understand." they told him, calmly watching as he frantically made the gap between them even bigger. Trotting after her small companion, she kept a slow pace to stay next to him. Giving him a small, she responded with, "Alright, Snake!".

They were heading off of the bridge and diagonally from the creek that went under it, a thin and spars treeline between the pair and their destination. Not to say that there weren't also many flower patches as well, but they weren't quite so visible yet.

It definatly irks Helmut that she's keeping up so easily while he's literaly sprinting around. He takes a deep breath and goes faster, teeny little feetsies going as quick as possible. It's good to be alive and running he thinks to himself. Who knows when he'd be able to do this again? The demon lets out a large whoop that releases a cloud of ash. It doesn't seem to bother him though. Demons are well known for healing fast or at least being able to function perfectly despite injuries.

She stepped a little further off to the side to avoid another loud if it happened to spring up again, chuckling a bit. They'd made it to the treeline, and were heading for a patch of purple flowers. Helmut displays incredible manovering, dashing between the roots as the tree line rises to meet them. He proceeds to dash around tree trunks and hop over rocks. But only takes one misstep and the little demon goes down, crashing into the flower patch, sending petals flying. There's flurry of curses as he rights himself, doing his best to get all the flowers off of him as well. "Ffff flowers, ugh, I hate flowers..." He mumbles to himself, scowling all the while.

Watching him scurry about,

Watching him scurry about, the little stranger truly did remind her of a snake. He seemed to slither through everything. Though, his misstep was quite surprising. She hadn't seen what Snake had tripped over, but she picked up her pace and trotted after him. Leaning down, she looked through the flowers and found the small companion, helping remove petals from him. "You move so quickly through so many things- I suppose I'm a little jealous." Sabel told him, chuckling a bit. "It looks kind of fun."

"Huh?" Her words take him by

"Huh?" Her words take him by suprise as he distractedly tries to remove a stubborn petal from his hoof. "Oh, I'd rather be my normal size." The little demon succeeds in dislodging the cumbersome petal and turns his more focused attention towards the girl. "You try walking from the pond all the way to playground with these little legs. It ain't too great dust-bunny. But, there are more hiding places." He admits, you can't fit under a tree if you were the size of a elk. His original form would put an end to tunnels as well. His last link with home. "It is nice when you can run like that, man am I fast. But I have to be in this forest."

"Normal size?" the raven

"Normal size?" the raven haired doe echoes, her pale complexion relaxing a bit with confusion. Then again, considering some other inhabitants as of... late... it might make sense that Snake wasn't what he seemed. "Hm... you do have to move your legs faster. Does it get tiring?" she asked, tilting her head a bit and stepping around the small companion as he adjusted himself. As for hiding- well, she'd rarely ever tried such a thing. It almost came a bit naturally and on accident. Though, his following statement only brought more questions to her. "Is it because the forest is large?" Sabel asked, moving a few pace ahead of the flower patch.

He gives a sharp nod but

He gives a sharp nod but doesn't clarify what he means by normal sized. "Hell yeah it gets tiring, going through tall grass is like wading through a forest. Hills are pretty much mountains. Don't even get me started on walking across the whole forest, it takes days!" As always he never misses an oppertunity to grumble about things. Her question makes him snort, "Hun, have you seen some of the behemoths here? A normal sized thing can pretty much crush me, much less something the size of a fucking bus! Plus, they might want to eat me."

Thinking of the world looking

Thinking of the world looking so big from his perspective, things that seemed somewhat large to her could seem tremendous to Snake. Not to mention larger creatures. In particular, her thoughts drifted to a large white monkey-like stranger, and a giant crow. It was a wonder how some of the smaller things- smaller than herself, of course- made it through their days in the forest peacefully. But this place was usually quite prone to long peaces and short bursts of fighting. "Hm... good point. Though, a lot of the ones I've run into seem more interested in protecting what they call home." replied the doe. They'd actually made good distance with all of this talking, and the large trees that made a towering circle over the blue bowl were coming into view.

"Eh, still don't want to

"Eh, still don't want to become a moot-pancake." He replies, having to really pick up his heels to get over a large log. It's getting increasingly hard to see, upwards visibility has reached zero. Dodging trees turns into weaving through grass and trying not to loose track of the other. He hates the birch forest, maybe even more than he hates flowers. It's way too hard for something or Someone to sneak up on him. The little demon keeps a wary ear out for the call of crows.

Through the soft chirping of

Through the soft chirping of the birds and the soft breeze, Sabel would wait every few steps to make sure that Snake was still there. it seemed that as they made more progress towards The Blue Bowl, it became more difficult for him to bob and weave through his obstacles on the ground. "We're almost there- just a little bit further." Sabel assured him, peering back a bit to make sure he was keeping up. They'd almost passed through all of the trees. Beyond them was a small clearing before you'd see the first large birch tree that made the circle around the blue berries and flowers.

Moot's doing some rather

Moot's doing some rather impressive hops to gain visibility, shooting up in the air in quick hops. "Almost there! Almost there!" He chants under his breath as they finally got to the birch circle and wasted no time shooting down the bowl. The little demon dissapears amoung the blueberries.

"That was fast..." Sabel

"That was fast..." Sabel mumbled, mouth hanging open slightly as her wide eyes watched Snake vanish into the field of blue. The only indication of his presence was the slight movements with in the flowers and berries. Giggling, she backed up a bit before taking a running start and leaping in after him- tumbling down through the flowers. Rolling to a stop on her stomach, she laughed with enjoyment and munched on a few nearby berries.
