Hello, I’ve been playing TEF on and off again for a couple of years now. Not quite sure how many. Between 2 to 3 years (June 24, 2010) maybe? Mainly just playing to relax and have a little fun. Finally decided to join the community, see what’s what, and perhaps RP my deer.
This post will be my “Who am I” and updates post if it’s editable. I don’t know. Never been on this community before. ^^; So, yes, hi.

- Online/Offline Status
See if one of my deer are online and who are the most active. See what their current Physical, Mental, and Emotional health is. Maybe make a request for a deer’s appearance.

One of them 'who are you' threads. This will be updated anytime my deer has a friend added to their friend’s list but I do not know who the deer or it’s player is.

OOC Deer Language
Just basic stuff to let you know when
I need to be OOC or go AFK.
Paw ground + Sit = Either my deer wants you to sit with him/her or I am telling you I need to go afk and I’ll be right back. If my deer wants you to sit too and you hadn’t yet they’ll be more persistent. Getting up and repeating the action. Otherwise I probably went afk.

Sad + Bow + Nuzzle = I have to logoff. And I’ll miss you. : (


My Views on In Forest interaction
It seems a lot of people take In Forest / In Game things personally. I’m not one of them. So I figured I’d put up a list of my views of some things so you know what I don’t mind and the rare things that might actually bug me. :- P Remember, though, that this is all things that happen In Forest. My views might be different in Text RP situations.

Stalking: I don’t mind your deer stalking mine. In fact, as a player, I maybe flattered. :3 Keep in mind though while I, as a player, don’t mind it some of my deer/characters might get upset! Be prepared to get some odd or aggressive behavior depending on which one of my deer you’re stalking.

Chasing: Some of my deer can be rather shy and may run from your deer. Have at it! I think it’s amusing. But be prepared for some of my deer’s friends getting aggressive. They can be rather protective. But again, it’s all fun and games. As a player I don’t mind it but my characters might be ICly upset. : )

Fighting: Whether it’s just a spar (practice/play fight) or an aggressive battle I enjoy them all. Each of my deer will act differently to an aggressor. Some may try to flee and fight only as a last resort, some may be rather protective of some deer, some may just be looking for a fight themselves. I do not take any of that aggression personally.

Hurting a helpless Deer: I don’t mind this if that is the way your character is. Your deer can batter my deer as close to death as you want. However, I find it common courtesy to ASK a player before just ’assuming’ you killed their character. I believe it is the characters player/owner who is the only one able to announce a characters official death. Otherwise, if you force a player’s deer’s death by announcing it and telling someone they’re wrong in not agreeing that you killed them then your just being a jerk.

Getting between fights: I have mix feelings about this.
First off if your character’s a fawn I think it’s best they stay out of it. It can be rather annoying to have a fawn jumping between two fighting adults. If your characters an adult then it makes a bit more sense.
If it’s obvious that the two deer are equally aggressive and your deer don’t know either of them, again stay out of it. If you get between two fighters and you don’t know either of them it can be considered extremely rude both IC and OOC.
However, if one deer is cowering and the other is still attacking then by all means intervene!

Hey, PW, you did something that upset me!: Waoh, woah, woah! Ok, we can be civil about this. Just let me know what I did In Forest that made you unhappy. Explain to me why it upset you. And let me know what I can do in the future to avoid making you upset. Just PLEASE talk to me in a mature and /calm/ manner. I don’t like arguing and if we can avoid flame wars I’d be quite the happy little player. : ) If I upset you so much that you don’t ever want to play with me again just tell me calmly and where I can find a list of your deer/pictograms. I’ll take note of them and make a point in avoiding you and your deer. I just hope it never comes down to that. I do try to stay on everyone’s good side. : )
